Dr. John Joseph Johnston graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 1981 with his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (D.C.). He has practiced chiropractic in Gainesville since 1982 and is the only graduate of a Straight Chiropractic College in our community.
He is recognized for his gentle and caring approach to his patients. He is also well known in the community for bringing the benefits of Chiropractic to the public with the many seminars and lectures he gives.
Dr. Johnston is a member of the International Chiropractic Association, the Florida Chiropractic Society, the Christian Chiropractor's Association and the Florida Track Club. His mile time at age 50 was 4:58:0.
Dr. Johnston is married and has three children. He is a Master All-American in USA Track and Field, assists in coaching soccer and cross country running. He also enjoys sports of all kinds, kayaking, the mountains, writing, and lecturing on health potential.
